Car facts

Car facts are what is true about the car you are driving: its name, its engine layout, where its redline starts. They belong to the car rather than to a preset, and they sit at the top of the plugin.

Three things read them. Engine pulse builds its firing pattern from the layout, the redline buzz fires as you enter the redline, and your rev lights light up to it.

Where the numbers come from

Some games tell the plugin these details themselves. For the games that don’t, the plugin carries its own list of cars. Anything still missing can come from what other people have filled in, and if nothing has an answer the plugin guesses from the revs it sees the car using.

The line beside a value says where it came from: from the game, from the community, or an estimated guess. A value you set yourself carries no label, because you already know.

What you can set

Drive the car for a moment first. The plugin identifies the engine from telemetry and pins your answer to that engine, so a car that comes in several tunes keeps its own facts for each one.

Filling them in helps everybody

Setting a value offers it to the community, and the next person to drive that car gets it without the work. That is where the community’s answers came from in the first place. With community features off it stays on your PC.
